This simple bot is designed for professional laundry services – it’s task is lead generation from interested businesses. It also offers a secondary route if the user is only browsing available services or an AI block for answering questions about the business.
At the start of the conversation the bot will ask if the user is looking for laundry services for the business (lead generation) or just browsing.
In the lead generation mode the bot will ask for:
- The type of business – choices are currently Hotel / B&B or Similar, Bar / Restaurant, Spa / Gym or Other.
- It is easy to customise by adding additional option under the Choice block labelled as ‘BusinessType’. The first one for Hotels etc.. should be left intact since the other choices do jump to some of its items which are common to all choices. ie. The Choice block known as ‘DiscussOrQuote’.
- In the case of Hotel etc.. the bot will also ask for the number of rooms.
- The frequency of service required – ie. a daily service, weekly service or bi-weekly service.
- The bot will then ask for any specific requirements the interested party may have (for example 24 hour turnaround, pickup service etc..) or to request the quote straight away.
- The bot then asks for the person’s e-mail address. No other details are requested in the interest of keeping the bot simple to use, however you may wish to ask for a phone number in addition by adding in an additional question block, perhaps after Question block ’email’ (note there are 2 question blocks with the ’email’ name – the first one is the main one!)
In the just browsing mode, the user has the choice of being redirected to the web site service page for more information, or asking questions about the business using the AI block.
The bot can be configured by the user, for example, you should change:
- Change [Laundry Biz Name] which you’ll find in the first Choice block labelled as ‘quest’ to your business name.
- Bot settings – Widget Title – replace [Laundry Biz Name] with your business name.
- Also in Bot Settings – Welcome Message.
- Change e-mail address in Bot Settings – Fallback message.
- Change the URL in the Redirect block to point to your services page instead of google.com!
- Change information found in the AI block after the ‘%%’ signs to have information about your business.
And of course the avatar image and colours can be changed to match your own branding.
If your site uses Google translate the bot should be translated in any event but the translation isn’t usually perfect.
