This Competitions Portal Assistant was created as a demonstration for a client of All Tech Plus but could be used by anyone running a competitions portal. The assistant has 2 routes, the first is a traditional pre-programmed route designed to capture details about a competition to list. If the person listing is the organiser they are invited, should they so wish to make a donation to list the competition and get better exposure on the portal. The demo currently will redirect to a paypal.me page.
The second route, is an AI assisted block, where the assistant has been trained on the following (using an attached text file, though the assistant could be trained on one or more pages from the actual website):
- General Info: What is [Competitions Portal] and how does it work?
- Competition Submission: How can I submit a competition?
- Pricing and Donations: Is it free to list competitions?
- Eligibility Questions: Who can list a competition?
- Support: How do I contact customer support?
- User Accounts: How do I create an account?
There are a number of possibilities for further development such as integrating the information collected by the assistant into other systems, some examples are given below. Such automations could be achieved by using automation portals such as ActivePieces, Make.com or Zapier.
- Submissions Workflow: Automate new competition submissions to the CMS.
- Donation Integration: Redirect users to a donation/payment platform based on their input (currently simple redirect to Paypal)
- FAQ Updates: Periodically train the AI block with updated FAQ data to improve accuracy.
- Notifications: Notify admins of new submissions and donations in real time.
- Check competition submission validity: An automation to check submitted details, confirm the link works, e-mail the organiser.
